T. Hamish Tear is from a small Scottish island, where he gained a passion for the mountains and the sea. This led him to writing and photography: his work is chronicled over thirty years in Mountain (UK), Climber (UK), Sail; Cruising World; Powder; Ski; and yachting monthly (UK), Teton Home and Living, Wyoming Lifestyles, Teton Valley Magazine, Big Sky Journal and 'Homes' magazines. His passion is landscape, and lifestyle photography, his specialty is hospitality promotion. In 2012, Hamish will be hosting photography workshops and walking / hiking excursions in the Scottish Inner Hebridean Islands using local photographers and activity guides.
